Its been pretty slow |

around here lately. We got our gst check that came in the other day and that went towards July's rent. The Oilers had their prospects development camp the other day over here at the Clairview arena. I got an email notification saying that the Lodge BBQ is going to be held Sunday August 28th. Anne likes the BBQ. I broke off a big lower tooth during dinner last night. Diabetes most likely has killed a lot of nerves in my mouth area.
Oh, I also received notification from Canada Post that my item I ordered from Ebay is in. It arrived yesterday while we were sleeping. So I got up this morning and ran all the way over to 139th and Victoria trail but it was all for naught because the item hadn't come in yet the clerk said at the pharmacy. It most likely will be in tomorrow or later today and they have to process it etc. Hopefully I'll have it tomorrow. But the bus ride was a dry run anyway. I hadn't been up that way on my own since before I got married back in 2000. If I make the right connections I can be there and back in an hour. This is my first item I've ever purchased online and my first item eve purchased from Ebay. Most likely I wont get it until Monday. The Government likes to dicker people around, make them wait.
Not that I'd make it public knowledge I'd win the Big one, but I checked my 6/49 lotto ticket for Wednesdays draw and I won $10. I got 3 number. If the 44 on my ticket was picked instead of the 42 I would have won $69. I usually get a free ticket, $5-10 once a month. This was a quick pick ticket.
Still no word from when my niece Stephanie is coming out to Edmonton. I don't know if she's coming out alone with her boyfriend or what the story is. Anyway, that's about all for now.
